The ESPON 2020 Programme in cooperation with the Luxembourg Presidency is organising a seminar titled “A world without borders - Refugees, cooperation and territories” which will take place in Luxembourg City on 8-9 December 2015.
The inspiring plenary sessions of the seminar are:
- Territorial aspects of refugee migration to Europe - Current refugee movements to Europe, opportunities and challenges
- Cross-border cooperation: what can ESPON do to support? - The significance of European cross-border cooperation and the need for territorial evidence
- ESPON territorial monitoring for European macro-regions - What kind of evidence do we need to support the further development of European macro-regional strategies?
This invitation is extended to policy makers, stakeholders, practitioners, scientists and experts, who are interested in the topics addressed at the seminar and who want to influence the further European policy processes on territorial issues and support the use of territorial evidence for policy development.
The ESPON 2020 European Grouping for Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) informs that registration for this Seminar is open till 1 December 2015 at 1500hrs and should anyone be interested, they are kindly asked to fill in the Registration form available on the Programme’s website.
