DAAD research grants for doctoral candidates and university academics at the University of Malta
Science and research in Germany can boast of a superior infrastructure in a wide variety of disciplines besides state-of-the-art facilities and highly qualified researches and academics in their various fields. The German Academic Exchange Service - DAAD provides funding opportunities for the international exchange to both students and researchers.
DAAD is offering the following research grants:

Who can apply?
Excellently-qualified doctoral candidates and graduates who have admission to a doctoral programme at the time they begin the grant-supported research
duration of the funding: maximum 18 months
application deadline: 1 December 2015 - Research grants: one-year grants
Who can apply?
Excellently-qualified doctoral candidates and young academics and scientists who have completed a Master's degree or Diploma, or in exceptional cases a Bachelor's degree at the latest by the time they begin their grant-supported research, or those who have already completed a Ph.D. (postdocs)
duration of the funding: 7 -10 months
application deadline: 1 December 2015
