Awards
Applications are subject to preliminary selection by the relevant national authorities and/or the Swiss diplomatic representation. The short-listed applications are then analysed by the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS) which subsequently takes the final decision.
The FCS is composed of University Professors drawn from all the Swiss public Universities. Scholarship awards are decided on the basis of academic and scientific excellence.

Application documents have to be submitted at the following address:

The deadline for the submission of documents is by noon of Monday 8 December 2015.
A copy of the application is also to be sent to the Scholarship Section of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. This can be either posted, faxed, sent by email or one can use the Scholarships portal www.scholarships.gov.mt. Kindly note that this portal requires an e-ID certification. E-ID registration details may be obtained from www.mygov.mt.
Successful candidates may be required to enter into a contract to serve the Government or the Private Sector of Malta upon completion of the scholarship.
Applications from Government and Parastatal employees and from the Private Sector will not be considered unless recommended by their Head of Department/Employer respectively.
The Board’s decision will be final.
