The first virtual Horizon 2020 summit which will include pre-recorded training sessions from more than 30 top experts will be broadcasted from 2 till 6 October 2017.
This event is equally applicable for advanced and highly experienced Horizon 2020 actors but also to beginners since tips, hints and suggestions for better tools are always handy to everyone.
There are already more than 1300 registrations which makes it the biggest ever event on Horizon 2020 so far and it is alighed with high-quality standards, such as:
- top experts as presenters/interviewees: more than 30 experts (well-established at European level trainers, consultants, policy officers, communication managers, commercialisation experts, platform/tool providers etc) will present and answer questions on tools, tips, best practices related to Horizon 2020 according to their specific expertise
- diverse and in-depth sessions: during this 5-day event, each day different areas will be addressed in detail by giving focus and digging deep on each of the success criteria and in peculiarities of each action (e.g. on Monday 2 Oct focus will be on ERC, MCSA, FET, on Tuesday 3 October on SME instrument, on Wednesday 4 October on RIA and IA, on Thursday 5 October on Platforms and tools for escalating H2020 success, on Friday 6 October on horizontal issues such communication, dissemination and exploitation, ethics, IPR, commercialisation and about FP9)
- no superficial and standardised presentations: no superficial or general presentations are allowed but with the proper guidance and questions from my side as interviewer, practical and effective steps and actions will emerge that can be applied immediately by current and potential H2020 actors for more success in Horizon 2020
- free and easy to attend access: the participation at the event is free during the broadcasting week (2-6 Oct 2017) and the participants will be able to attend the sessions remotely from their computer with an Internet connection. In order to avoid any incompatibilities with software and last moment surprises such as sickness of presenters/experts as well as to ensure easy access, all sessions are pre-recorded in advance up to September 2017 and broadcasted at pre-specified session during the summit week (2-6 Oct 2017).
