Mr. Victor and Dr. Stella Borg Barthet recently presented the Director of Library Services, Mr. Anthony Mangion, with a sizable collection of books covering Commonwealth and Post-Colonial Literature for the use of students pursuing studies in the Department of English, Faculty of Arts. The presentation followed the Triennial Conference of the European Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies (EACLALS) convened by Dr. Borg Barthet and hosted in Malta by the Department of English in the last week of March.  Publishers Routledge, Rodopi and Eckhart Breitinger had mounted stands during the conference and generously donated all remaining unsold books to the University Library to enhance its holdings in this area of study.
