Bachelor of Music (Honours)

Natalija Filipenko was born in Kiev, Ukraine, in 1968. She started her violin studies at the age of 6 at the Kiev State School of Performing Arts. Natalija continued studying violin, chamber music and theory of music in Kiev State Musical College, after which she proceeded to Kiev State Conservatory named by P.I. Tchaikovsky. Natalia-Filipenko

Apart from performing as a soloist and in a various Chamber Ensembles, Natalija has also formed part of several orchestras, including that Kiev State Opera House for Children and Youths, Kiev State Opera House, Kiev State Philharmonic Orchestra, and the orchestra of the Cairo Opera House.

She had performed extensively, giving concerts in Europe, US (including Carnegie Hall), Far East (South Korea, Japan). She has been a member of Malta Philharmonic orchestra from 2003 and a violinist in Lakota Piano Trio from 2008.
