Autumn Continuing Professional Development Meeting The Malta College of Family Doctors in conjunction with the Continuing Medical Education Committee of the University's Faculty of Medicine & Surgery will shortly be organising the Autumn Continuing Professional Development Meeting. The highly topical subject chosen for discussion is to be The Use of  Information Technology in Family Practice and is to take place between 6 and 8 October 1999. Sessions will start at 8.30 p.m. and will be held in the Main Conference Hall, Medical School, G'Mangia.

The first in the three-day series of lectures will be on Information Technology in Medical Education by Dr Philip Sciortino while Drs Hugo Agius-Muscat and Wilfred Galea will discuss "The Use of the Internet in Family Practice". Of paramount importance to General Practitioners, Dr Jean Karl Soler will discuss the use of a software package for computerising patient records. The Friday session will be followed by a reception. The Meeting is being sponsored by Biosphere Ltd & Servier.

The Malta College of Family Doctors will accredit participation.
