Vivaldi expert to lecture at the University of Malta

Michael Talbot Head of Music Programme, University of Liverpool
an acclaimed expert on Vivaldi, will be visiting the Mediterranean
Institute's Music Studies Programme next week. He will be lecturing to
Music students on Italian Sacred Music in the Age of Bach and Handel
on Wednesday, 5 May 1999 from 09:00 - 10:00 in Room 108, Computer Building.
Music at the Ospedale della Pietà in Vivaldi's Venice
will be the subject of his lecture on Thursday, 6 May 1999 14:00 - 16:00
Room 103, Computer Building,
Staff and students from other faculties as well as interested members
of the general public are cordially invited to attend.
