Study Abroad Opportunities More and more students worldwide are on the move and University of Malta students are no exception. The University's membership of international networks and its bilateral link agreements with overseas universities provide students with many fascinating destinations to chose from. Some twenty five went to universities in the USA, Canada and Australia last academic year and this year Japan and France are also on the list. Students are encouraged to avail themselves of these opportunities because study abroad undoubtedly adds a new dimension to their studies and is an enriching and unforgettable experience. Credits taken during the period of study abroad are, of course, included in the studentís record of academic achievement.

Regularly registered students of the University of Malta can apply to spend one semester abroad during the academic year 2001/2002. A booklet listing the universities with details, conditions and an application form is now available at the International Office. As a general rule, students who are in their final year during the academic year 2001/2002 are not eligible for nomination for an exchange programme.

Completed application forms must reach International Office on campus by not later than 1200hrs on Friday, 10 November 2000.  For further information, please contact Ruth D'Amato at the International Office on campus or telephone 32902804.
