It has been noticed that a number of advertisements for courses at tertiary level for the award of degrees or diplomas by overseas universities and other entities have been published in local newspapers.

The University of Malta advises all prospective applicants for such courses to ensure that the award they are applying for is acceptable locally as comparable to awards of the University of Malta (e.g. for the purpose of further study at the University or for local employment).

Advice may be sought from the Malta Equivalence Information Centre within the Office of the Registrar at the University of Malta.
