Koperattiva Kulturali Universitarja organises Photographic Competition and Exhibition Koperattiva Kulturali Universitarja (KKU) is organising a Photographic Competition & Exhibition as part of its activities for Evenings on Campus 2001.  The event is being organised under the patronage of the Malta Photographic Society. The theme for this year's competition, which consists of two sections, Monochrome and Colour, is 'Meaningful Relationships'. Our lives are today characterised by a hectic schedule where most of us wish we could fit in more in a day. We are always on the go. From one meeting to the next, switching from one chore to another and learning to adjust and cope according to the people we meet. Most of us are lucky to have a fulfilling job, however, ultimately at the end of the day what really fills our hearts and souls are the meaningful relationships we have. Relationships with our spouses, families or friends. We would like the entries to capture those magical moments where we feel we are our real 'self' with another we care for, where our spirits meet. Each section carries two cash prizes and there will also be a special award for the best print submitted by a University or Junior College student. Each entrant can submit not more than 5 entries in each categories. The entries are to be mounted in 1.5 or 3mm.

The competition is open to all members of the public. Entries must be original and should be submitted at the Precincts Office by Friday 15th June.  Those interested may collect copy of the relations from the Precincts Office at the University of Malta as from  Monday 23rd April or from the Malta Photographic Society at 137, Old Bakery Street, Valletta, on Thursdays evenings only.

For more information, please call the Precincts Office on 3290 2236 or 3290 2997.
