Work-in-Progress Seminars
Work-in-Progress Seminars, as usual, will become a reading group in
February and March. The public is welcome. This year the Seminars will
be reading and discussing the french Social philosopher Michel Foucault.
On Wednesday 21st February, Dr. Peter Mayo will discuss Book 1, History
of Sexuality. On Wednesday 7 March, the Seminar will discuss Book 2 and
Book 3. On Wednesday 21st March, Dr. David E. Zammit will discuss Foucault,
Archaeology of Knowledge.
The fortnightly seminars will be held from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm in Lecture
Centre Room 118 (below the Library), University of Malta, Msida (Entrance
from Car Park 2). Discussion and drinks will follow.
