Former University of Malta Student appointed Chairman of the largest Yugoslav Bank Nikola Zivanovic, a former University of Malta Economics student, has been appointed Chairman of the largest Bank in Yugoslavia - the Belgrade Bank. Before the war in the Balkans, the Belgrade Bank was highly placed in international banking circles. Thirty-two year old Mr Zivanovic together with a team of young experts will have the challenging task of reinstating the bank to its previous standing in international finance.
