ADMISSION 2002

Preparatory meetings for prospective Maltese university students are to be held between 9.00 am and 11.00 am in the Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta on Monday, 22 July 2002 and Tuesday, 23 July 2002. The meetings will be addressed by representatives of the Students¹ Advisory Services, Counselling Services, Admissions & Records Office and Stipends Office. Students will be able to ask questions about entry requirements and any special course requirements as well as about filling in application forms. Orientation sessions for international students will be held at the end of September.

Applications for admission to all University of Malta certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses commencing in October 2002 will be received between 24 and 30 July, 8.30 am - 12.30 pm at the M. A. Vassalli Lecture Centre, University of Malta and between 29 and 30 July, 8.30 am - 1.00 pm at the University Gozo Centre.  Full details may be seen at http://www.um.edu.mt/noticeboard/admission02.html/ and will also be advertised shortly. Applicants who have already applied need not re-submit an application.

Together with their application, candidates are required to submit: original certificates; photocopies of all certificates including two photocopies of Matriculation Certificate; two passport size photographs; photocopy of their I.D. card (both sides) and National Insurance number.

Late applications (except for Dentistry, B.Sc.(Hons.) Physiotherapy and Diploma in Public Administration) may be submitted up to Friday, 30 August against a late application fee of Lm15 and thereafter at the discretion of the Faculty against a late application fee of Lm50.
