This year the History of Administration Working Group of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences held its session in Malta. The research theme which the group set itself for this year is that relating to the History of Water Management in a number of individual states and North African. Twelve leading academics from four continents presented their research in the session that was held on the 5th April 2003 at the Les Lapins Hotel in Ta' Xbiex. Prof. Godfrey A Pirotta, Head of the Department of Public Policy, and a longstanding member of the Working Group, presented his research findings on the Malta case in addition to playing host to the visiting academics. The group will now meet in March next year in Germany when the work will be finalised for publication by Sage Books.
