Course leading to M.A. in Translation Now that Malta is a Member State of the European Union, the European Institutions will require the services of Maltese translators.  These highly qualified professionals can become permanent staff translators or work as freelancers.

A two-year part-time evening postgraduate specialized training course is to be conducted as from the 2004/5 academic year by the Faculty of Arts, University of Malta, with the support of the EU Institutions.

This course is open to university graduates in any discipline who have an excellent command of Maltese and a thorough knowledge of one or two other E.U. languages. This challenging work is ideal for those who would like to be employed in an international environment and for people who take a keen interest in current affairs and are computer literate.
