Scream X 2004
The
launch of the 10th edition of the Scream magazine entitled "Scream X 2004"
will be held on 18April at Castille Wine Vaults in Valletta where everyone
is invited to pick up their Scream copy for free. The launch party will
start at 8.30pm and there will be music and entertainment from the likes
of DJ Malcolm (89.7 Bay) and Jonny G (Campus FM) and breakdancing by the
S.O.E Crew.
The nearly 100 students taking Printing Processes lectured by Dr Gorg
Mallia in the Communications course of the University worked hard this
year at producing this year's Scream which is celebrating its 10th edition
with a bang!! The annual magazine which comes out every year is more than
just the most important project of the cou! rse it is the student's effort
in exhibiting their skills in journalism, desktop publishing, graphic and
web design, public relations , marketing and of course knowledge
of printing processes.
This year's Scream will have something for everyone from sports articles
to health, music, technology, culture, students lives , Vox pops and a lonely
hearts page. The Scream magazine will also be available from the Centre of
Communication technology at the University not excluding the various faculties
