Visiting Lecturers within the Geography Division, Mediterranean Institute A series of lectures on Geomorphology and Slope Instability are going to be delivered by Professor Mauro Soldati from the University of  Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy and Dr. Alessandro Pasuto from the Italian National Research Council in Padova.  These lectures together with a field trip are going to be held during the first week of January 2005.  Anyone interested in the subject and especially all 2nd and 3rd year Geography students are encouraged to attend.

Both Professor Soldati and Dr. Pasuto are leading experts in their field and these lectures will provide an opportunity to be exposed to current research,
expertise and new techniques in this field of the earth sciences.
