Understanding the Maltese Economy The Economics Department of the University of Malta in collaboration with the  Foundation for International Studies will be organising the following short course.

"Understanding the Maltese Economy"

The course is intended for all those who wish to obtain information about the structure, performance and challenges of the Maltese economy and of the policy orientations to meet these challenges. The course should be of special interest to students of economics, public officials involved in economic policy-making and economic journalists.

The tutors of the course are Professor Lino Briguglio and Mr Gordon Cordina, who are both well-known economists, with a long experience in lecturing on Economics subjects.

The course will be spread over three weeks and will commence of Tuesday 14 June 2005.  Lectures will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5.30 and 8.30 pm, with a brief coffee break. The course fee will be Lm50 per person, covering tuition and course notes.
