Short Course and one-day Seminars at the University of Malta Gozo Centre The University of Malta Gozo Centre will be organising the following short course and one-day seminars during June and July 2006.

SHORT COURSE ON ‘USE OF THE INTERNET’

The course should be of interest to PC users who have little or no background in handling the Internet but would like to become proficient users.

The tutors of the course are Dr. Carl J. Debono, and Prof. Paul Micallef from the Department of Communications and Computer Engineering, University of Malta. The course will be held on Saturday 15 July (5 hours) and on Saturday 22 July 2006 (5 hours).

ONE-DAY SEMINAR ON ‘SYSTEMIC FAMILY CONSTELLATION’

The objective of this experiential workshop is to make visible hidden dynamics that plays a role in one’s entanglement within the family system; allowing for new movements to take place, resulting in an openness of the system. The seminar is intended for both professionals who are in search of new ways to assist clients, and for individuals who have experienced trauma and/or have a feeling of being unable to move forward.

The tutor of the seminar is Ms Josephine Galea MSW, LCSW, CHT, Director and Founder of The Art of Self Healing Center. The seminar will be held on Saturday 24 June 2006.

ONE-DAY SEMINAR ON ‘MANAGING TIME MORE PROFITABLY’

Time is a limited and most valuable resource. Persons involved in supervision, middle or top management need to know how to manage this scarce resource more efficiently and effectively. This one-day seminar will help participants investigate time usage, assign priorities and plan their and other people’s time. Moreover they will discover how to achieve more with less.

The tutor of the seminar is Mr Charles J Falzon. The seminar will be held on Saturday 15 July from 0930hrs to 1700hrs.
