Ms. Pons, a Maltese with British heritage, has spent her entire
life in Malta. She proudly parents a wonderful 12-year-old daughter with
special needs, enriching her personal life and providing valuable insights for
both her studies and professional pursuits. In her leisure time, Ms. Pons
enjoys practicing mindfulness, and meditation, exploring diverse experiences, and immersing
herself in nature, finding inspiration and solace.

Originally aspiring to become a Physical Education teacher due
to her passion for sports and education, Ms. Pons's career path shifted towards
childcare following a pivotal personal experience during her youth, igniting a
profound love for children and immense joy in their presence.

Ms.Pons embarked on her childcare journey at 16, working in
three different childcare settings. For the past nine years, she has
dedicatedly served the University of Malta, taking on the role of Coordinator
at it-Tajra for the last five years. Working with a remarkable team of staff,
she approaches each workday with enthusiasm, eager to witness the unique
stories and experiences that unfold with the children.

Her affinity for working with children traces back to her own
childhood. During her school years, she frequently assisted the year 1 teacher
and held leadership roles at the Salesians summer school and the girl guides,
instilling in her a sense of confidence and leadership skills that she carries
into her professional life.

Children's innocence and sweetness bring Ms. Pons immense
happiness as she witnesses their growth and development. Believing in the
the positive impact she can make, she finds fulfillment in her role as a childcare
professional, contributing to the well-being and development of the children
she works with.

Ms. Pons believes that a childcare centre is not just a safe
space but a place where children can thrive and explore the world with
curiosity. Her personal philosophy is that life is short; enjoy it to the
fullest and always appreciate everything you have in life.
