Christopher Pollacco has lectured Systems of Knowledge since 1988, first at the G.F. Abela Upper Lyceum, and since 1995 at the University Junior College, Msida. He has also lectured The History of European Integration for the University's European Documentation and Research Centre (EDRC) between 1997 and 2008.

He read for his undergraduate degree at the University of Malta, which he followed with a B.A.(Hons)and an M.A. in History at the same University. He was involved in the revision of the Systems of Knowledge syllabus in 1997, and was also involved in the co-authorship of a three texts used at the national level in the teaching of Systems of Knowledge. During his eleven-year lecturing experience at the EDRC, he authored another two books: one about European integration (with special reference to Malta's quest for EU membership); and another about the development of EU relations with the Mediterranean littoral countries. He was also asked to supervise and correct undergraduate theses in European studies.

Currently, he is reading for his PhD. in Public Policy at the Faculty of Economic, Management and Accountancy in the University of Malta. His research is about the making of a constitutional architecture for the European Union from its inception in the early 1950s to the present.

Mr Pollacco is also very interested in the history of art. This interest dates back to his artistic studies which he pursued at the University of Siena, Italy between 1981 and 1985. Since then he has travelled extensively across Europe to appreciate the Continent's cultural and artistic heritage.
