Dr Ian Fenech Conti read for his undergraduate degree in Information Technology (majoring in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Malta. Following this, he was invited to continue developing his work at the Department of Physics at the University of Oxford. Dr Fenech Conti then enrolled for a Ph.D in Physics with the Department of Physics at the University of Malta in collaboration with the Department of Physics at the University of Oxford, under the supervision of Prof. Kristian Zarb Adami and Prof. Lance Miller. Dr Fenech Conti’s main Ph.D research area was Optical Modelling and Simulation, which mainly focused on the development of image processing and correction algorithms for space telescopes.
