My background is in both English Literature and Philosophy, and my lecturing and research tend to reflect this. I'm the founding co-editor, with Ivan Callus, of CounterText, published by Edinburgh University Press, and a founding member of the Futures of Literature Network. Right now I'm particularly interested in the post-literary; psychedelics, ego death and the literary; and AI.
