Ms Sara Accettura

Sara was born in Bari (Italy), were she trained in ballet and modern dance and achieved her dance Diplomas (Diploma for a Proficiency Course for dance teachers, Master in choreography). She started her dance career, until she moved to London to train in contemporary dance at London Contemporary Dance School. In 2007 she graduated with a First Class Degree and after she worked with Diversions Dance Company of Wales as an apprentice, whilst attending a PG in Performance.
Since 2008 she has danced for Cedar Dance Theatre, Diciembre Dance, Combination Dance, Leila Dance, Maddogs Dance Theatre, the British Fashion Awards, Rich Fulcher, the Secret Cinema of London, whilst teaching in England for the Young Saturday Classes at The Place and other dance schools.
In 2009 Sara achieved a Master of Arts in Performance at the London Contemporary Dance School.
In 2011 she moved back to Italy to fund Junior Dance Company Bari the first youth company in south of Italy. Meanwhile she has taught contemporary dance for several schools in Italy, whilst dancing for Lucia Piquero, Yoshua Cienfuegos, Dana Raz, Mavin Khoo.
In 2013 Sara started running Dance For All in collaboration with Dalla Luna, professionisti per l'autismo, an inclusive dance project.
Sara is now artistic director of Dance Master Class Italy and Spain, artistic director of Junior Dance Company Bari and Malta, co-director of Diciembre Dance, Assistant Lecturer for the School of Performing Arts Dance Studies Department and for the Department of Disability Studies at the University of Malta.
