(2) The admission of applicants whose first degree is not in a related area of study shall be made after an interview during which their ability to complete the Course successfully shall be assessed.

Course Duration

4. The Course shall extend over twelve months of full-time study or their equivalent in part-time study.

Course of Studies

5. The Course shall have two components, as follows:

(a) a taught component, consisting of a number of study-units to which 60 ECTS credits shall be assigned; and

(b) a research component, which shall lead to the presentation of a dissertation, written under supervision, to which 30 ECTS credits shall be assigned.

6. The programme of study shall be published by the Board of Studies before the commencement of the Course, following the approval of Senate. Subject to changes that the Board of Studies may, with the approval of Senate, be constrained to make, students are bound to follow the study-units and obtain the credits as indicated in the programme of study. The level, code, title, description and type of each study-unit, the number of credits assigned to each study-unit, the methods of teaching and assessment, and the name of the lecturer giving the study-unit shall be published by the Board of Studies in a catalogue of study-units, following approval by Senate.
