International Collaborative Programmes


International Master Degrees (EU-USA)

The University of Malta, together with international Universities, will be offering a number of International Collaborative Programmes. 

The list of courses commencing in the forthcoming academic year are:

M.A. in Conflict Resolution and Mediterranean Security
awarded: two degrees one from George Mason University and one from the University of Malta

M.A. in Global Maritime Archaeology
offered by the University of Malta in collaboration with the University of Western Australia and Western Australian Museum.

M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC)
offered by the University of Malta in collaboration with King's College, University of London

M.A. in Ocean Governance
offered by the University of Malta in collaboration with the UN, International Ocean Institute

M.A. in Transcultural Counselling
offered by University of Malta in collaboration with the University of New Orleans

Master in Advanced Clinical Pharmacy
offered by the University of Malta in collaboration with the College of Pharmacy at the University of Illinois in Chicago (UIC)

Master in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Culture
offered by the University of Malta, in collaboration with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

M.Sc. in Environmental Management and Sustainability
a dual degree programme offered by the University of Malta and James Madison University

Doctorate in Pharmacy
offered by the University of Malta in collaboration with the College of Pharmacy at the University of Illinois in Chicago (UIC)


European Joint Master Degrees
European Joint Master Degrees are accredited by the University of Malta and by leading European Universities. Besides creating a multi-cultural learning environment, these programmes seek to combine partner institution resources to offer students an added value to their education and increase their employability.

The courses currently available are:

Erasmus Mundus Master of Science in Human Language Science and Technology

Erasmus Mundus Master in Adult Education for Social Change

M.A. in International Humanitarian Action
an inter-university postgraduate programme, involving nine leading Universities across Europe, that provides high-quality academic education and professional competence for personnel working or intending to work in the Humanitarian sector
