The University of Malta aims to maintain and confirm its place as a research-intensive institution. Research activity is at the very heart of the University's vision, to stimulate teaching and to build strong links with business and industry as well as with other academic institutions.
Whilst not being exhaustive, the information available gives some idea as to the research being conducted by the Departments in various Faculties as well as by the Centres, Institutes and Programmes/Divisions at the University of Malta. Some of the research projects that different university entities are currently involved in are also indicated.
