| DESCRIPTION | Prerequisite IM or A-Level Physics The study-unit consists of weekly practical sessions, each of not more than three hours' duration, lasting throughout both semesters. Students typically work in groups of three. A variety of experiments are set, both to demonstrate fundamental principles and to develop the students' experimental and data analysis skills. Students are expected to perform ten experiments. Recommended Texts: No specific recommendations. A laboratory manual will be distributed at the beginning of the study-unit. |
