COURSE OVERVIEW
The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) course is a full-time course, which includes a number of compulsory core study-units in Psychology and a number of elective study-units which students may choose from. It has also a research component, where students have to design and conduct a research project. The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree enables students to proceed with their studies in Psychology at Postgraduate level, both in Malta and abroad, provided other requirements are also satisfied.
 
MOBILITY PERIOD Students who wish to participate in an ERASMUS exchange are encouraged to do so during the second semester of the second year of the course.
 
ADMISSION AND
PROGRESSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the General Entry Requirements for admission, namely, the Matriculation Certificate and Secondary Education Certificate passes at Grade 5 or better in Maltese, English Language and Mathematics.

Applicants must also satisfy the following Special Course Requirements:

An Intermediate Level pass at Grade C or better in Biology.

Applicants in terms of the 'maturity (adult learners) clause' are required to sit for a Biology Examination to be held on 11 September 2017. Successful applicants will then be required to sit for an interview during the last two weeks of September 2017. These dates cannot be changed. The closing date for receipt of applications from applicants in terms of the 'maturity (adult learners) clause' (those who will be sitting for the exam and/or interview) is 31 August 2017. The closing date for other applicants is 30 September 2017.

Applicants may also be required to submit a Learning Portfolio. Further information about the Portfolio will be forwarded to applicants.

The admission requirements are applicable for courses commencing in October 2017.
