DESCRIPTION | Students undertake a project, usually the evaluation of a program or of need in view of a program to meet that need, dedicating 125 hours on it, both at the agency where this is based and away from it. The evaluation research design and the negotiation and agreement on a target agency should have taken place beforehand. Students work under the guidance of a mentor and supervisor from the a target agency and periodically meet to discuss and promote progress as a class with the study-unit tutor. Assessment is through evaluation of the written report and in terms of feedback about the evaluation experience. Students may be permitted to work in groups. | ||||||
