DESCRIPTION | The study unit will address Residential Social Work in the context of Social Work practice. It locates residential services in the arena of social care provision. The tasks of Residential Services and the role of the social worker will also be explored at some depth. The second half of the unit will focus on specific settings and their work with particular client-groups. It will also consider the process of evaluation of such service provision.
