Course Structure
Aims
The B.A. (Hons.) Theology programme introduces the student to a comprehensive study of the sources of Christianity in the biblical and in the patristic tradition as well as its history, its doctrinal, ethical and pastoral aspects, including its relations to economics,
politics, culture and biotechnology. It is recommended to students wishing:
- To have a good grounding for the teaching of religion in the upper secondary school levels or to exercise certain forms of pastoral ministry and communitywork;
- To prepare for further specialized training in theology;
- To relate the faith with their own work, professional or social responsibilities.

Areas of Study
The course includes the study of theology as a Main Honours area of study and Philosophy and related studies as a subsidiary area of study and can be taken either on a full-time basis in three years or on a part-time evening basis in five years.
