Rev. Dr Mark Sultana Mark Sultana was born in Malta in 1973, and was ordained priest in 2000. He studied philosophy and theology at the University of Malta, where he also read for a Licentiate in Theology. He later gained a Licentiate and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. A visiting student at Campion Hall, University of Oxford (2004-2005), at present, he lectures in philosophy at the University of Malta. His works include Self-Deception and Akrasia, published by Analecta Gregoriana, for which he received the Premio Bellarmino 2006, and Karl Rahner and Hans Urs von Balthasar on Salvific Truth, published in the volume Living Theology, edited by Libreria Editrice Vaticana. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Forum Philosophicum: International Journal for Philosophy and has participated in a number of conferences and seminars both at the University of Malta and at other institutions overseas. As a philosopher and a theologian, he is very much interested in the dialogue between the two disciplines, and in pursuing research in both disciplines and in the interface between the two. Other interests include philosophical anthropology and philosophy of mind.
