The Faculty of Theology has an active Professional Ethics Programme which was set up as a joint initiative between the Department of Moral Theology and the Department of Philosophy in accordance with the relevant University guidelines. The Programme was approved during Senate meeting of 28 April 2009. More information about the Programme is available here.

For many years, the Faculty of Theology has been offering in-service teaching of Professional Ethics to various Faculties. Since 2008, the Faculty has started to offer programmes of study in Professional Ethics at Masters level.

In-Service teaching of Professional Ethics at an undergraduate level is offered in the following programmes of study:

MRT4040 - Reconciliation: Theological and Ethical Aspects

Professional Ethics at a postgraduate level is offered in the following programmes of study:

MRT5330 - Pastoral Ministry in a Global Perspective

MRT5820 - Supervision in Spiritual Companionship

MRT5830 - Ethical Issues of Spiritual Companionship
