DESCRIPTION During the first year of the S.Th.L, the student is expected to work in a parish/community setting on projects linked to four of the six main areas of the Course: Pastoral Planning, Social Ministry, Catechetics, Liturgy, Church Development; Pastoral Counselling/Spiritual Direction.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Through this field placement, one should be able to:
(i) develop appropriate ministerial responses in particular experiential contexts;
(ii) identify and articulate areas of needed personal and professional growth which emerge out of the experience of ministry as well as develop a self-evaluation process which will help continual growth;
(iii) acquire the practice of theological reflection within ministerial experiences.
