DEPARTMENT Faculty of Theology

DESCRIPTION The purpose of the dissertation for the Master of Arts in Theology is to develop students' understanding of a specialized area in Theology.

The Master of Arts in Theology is one of the two programmes of the Faculty of Theology which allows students to conduct an independent research project on any chosen topic of their liking which would also have to be of pressing theological relevance.

Such an exercise will engage the student to employ biblical, theological, and pastoral resources in a scholarly way around a pastorally relevant topic.

Conducting one’s own academic research implies to analyse in a systematic and critical manner all relevant literature, particularly paper based and electronic sources.
