Sharon Zammit was born in 1979, and graduated in Medicine in 2002 from the University of Malta. She obtained her MRCS (Glasgow) in 2007 and she is currently a Senior House Officer at the Department of Orthopaedics, Mater Dei Hospital. She attended art lessons by the late Norwegian artist Olaug Vethal. Her favourite media are acrylics and pastels.
