At the end of every academic year, the UoM VLE including all study-unit areas pertaining to that academic year, is archived. Archived VLEs will be accessible by tutors and students.

Tutors are able to access and amend any material in the archived VLE of the previous academic year. Older VLEs are set to read-only, that is no further changes can be made to the study-units. Students are not able to make further contributions, such as forum posts, assignment submissions etc. to all archived VLEs.

Tutors can use the VLE Copy Tool to copy the study-unit material between different VLEs*. The tool copies all the files, resources and activities that the tutors have set up for students, except for any submissions made by students, such as assignments, forum posts etc. More information about the VLE Copy Tool is available.

* Tutors who need to copy the course material present on the VLE 2005-09 to another VLE, are requested to contact us.
