University of Malta & Al Quds University - Seminar and Evening Public Lectures 

Architecture – Archaeology – Culture – Conservation Interactions and synergisms 

The Department of Conservation and Built Heritage will be welcoming to Malta two distinguished colleagues from the Institute of Archaeology, Al Quds University, Palestine. Dr Issa Sarie and Dr Ibrahim Abu Omar will be travelling to Malta in April, as part of an Erasmus + Exchange Programme the Department has with the Institute of Archaeology of Al Quds University, which has been ongoing since 2016, and which has seen the exchange of Maltese and Palestinian academics over a two year period. 

During their visit to Malta, Dr Sarie and Dr Abu Omar will be participating in a seminar organised by the Department of Conservation and Built Heritage at the University of Malta Valletta Campus (16 and 17 April) and two evening public lectures to be held at the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, Valletta, in collaboration with The Archaeological Society Malta, on 17 April.
