1. Conservation of the Baroque wall painting in the domestic Chapel of Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta 

The Department of Conservation and Built Heritage is currently conserving the important Baroque wall paintings in the domestic Chapel of Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta (owned by and in collaboration with the Malta Society of Arts). 


The project, started in 2016 from archival research and aiming to be completed in 2019 with the final presentation of the paintings, involves the the MSc students of the course in Conservation of Decorative Architectural Surfaces and the departmental staff. 

The MSc students, under the guidance of the Department staff, are fully involved in the methodology for the conservation of the paintings together with the materials designed and implementation on site.
