The Certificate in Environmental Interpretation and Education aims to present you with different perspectives of:
(i) Sustainable Development,
(ii) Education for Sustainable Development
(iii) the interaction between the environment & society - specifically in natural areas
(iv) different environmental management, environmental planning, socio-economic perspectives;
(v)about/through/for approaches to Sustainable Development; and
(vi) various environmental, and social contexts within which SD can be applied.
Moreover, each study unit offered will also have a very strong practical component providing you with first hand experiences of current and prospective environmental/sustainable development issues.
By the end of the course, you will have accumulated a wide range of knowledge, from Heritage Interpretation, Biodiversity and participatory process, to sustainable development issues and the Maltese Environment, to name a few.
