Master of Arts in Insurance and Risk Management

(for courses commencing October 2020)


Students are required to obtain a total of 90 ECTS credits over a period of 5 Semesters of part-time study.

In addition to the compulsory study-units indicated in the programme (65 ECTS credits), students will be required to register for 25 ECTS credits in elective study-units during the course as directed by the Board.

Semester 2

EMA5905* Dissertation 60 ECTS
INS5000 Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) 5 ECTS

*Work on the dissertation is expected to start in Semester 2 of academic year 2020/21 (February 2021) and continue up to the end of the course.

This programme of study is governed by the General Regulations for University Postgraduate Awards, 2008 and by the Bye-Laws for the degree of Master of Arts - M.A. - under the auspices of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy.
