* CLS1230 starts in Semester 2 of academic year 2022/3 and continues in Semester 1 of academic year 2023/4.



Semester 1 (October 2023 - January 2024)

CLS1229 Gender and Social Policy 4 ECTS

Elective Units Elective units are offered subject to time-table constraints.

Students are required to choose TWO study-units to the value of 8 ECTS credits from the elective study-units below:

CLS1227* Gender and Organisational Behaviour 4 ECTS
CLS1228* Gender and Labour Economics 4 ECTS
GDS1007 Media Literacy and Gender Issues 4 ECTS
GDS1008 Violence Against Women 4 ECTS

*In order to be eligible to join the third year of the Bachelor in Work and Human Resources (Honours) course, students will need a pass in study-units CLS1227 and CLS1228.



Requirement for award of Diploma in Gender, Work and Society: 60 ECTS credits

This programme of study is governed by the General Regulations for University Undergraduate Awards, 2019 and by the Bye-Laws for the award of Diploma in Gender, Work and Society - Dip. GWS - under the auspices of the Centre for Labour Studies in collaboration with the Faculty for Social Wellbeing.
