DESCRIPTION Students will be introduced to the basic procedures and skills of video editing and production. Students learn about the history of video art and discuss specific artists who have worked with the medium. Students develop a basic script that is then filmed and subsequently translated from raw data to the final video product.

Learning outcomes:

- Students understand basic procedures of video editing
- Students understand the importance of video art in contemporary artistic practice
- Students produce their own video
