DESCRIPTION Aims

The main aim of the seminar is for students to conduct an independent literature review in a particular area of study under supervision. The topic to be reviewed is chosen by the Panel of Supervision. The student will then make an oral presentation to an audience generally consisting of members of the faculty and students. He/she will be required to answer questions posed by the audience and shall previously have submitted an abstract describing the content of the seminar.

Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to:

- Review a topic from contemporary literature in a relevant topic
- Communicate visually his/her findings in a discussion forum
- Communicate orally his/her findings in a discussion forum
