DESCRIPTION This study-unit will be based on the knowledge acquired in the previous study-units, and will further deepen students’ knowledge and mastery of the German language. Advanced problems of German grammar will be taught - employing a communicative approach, centered on active language production.

Study-unit Aims:

This study-unit aims to provide the students with a better command of the German language especially in written and oral communication.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Knowledge & Understanding:

By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to build on what he/she learned in the previous units and further:

- identify and comprehend more complex structures of German grammar;
- demonstrate an understanding of complex authentic German texts;
- follow advanced oral communication.

2. Skills:

By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to build on the skills he/she obtained in the previous units and further:

- have a better command of German written and oral communication;
- make use of a more complex vocabulary;
- make use of an advanced structure of German grammar;
- speak a fluent and more complex German.
