DESCRIPTION | While Technology Education itself is not a vocational subject, the topics of the subject appear in the descriptors of a variety of vocations. Vocational education and training form a main part of the strategy of life long learning. This unit will provide students with the opportunity to examine what provision is made for vocational education in Malta and to compare that provision with that of other countries. The routes from academic to vocational study and the routes of progression after initial training will be explored. Reading List Recommended Generic Textbooks - Owen-Jackson, G. (2002).
