DESCRIPTION In the first part students will become familiar with the pedagogy and content of teaching the mini games of tag rugby, Mini soccer, Mini basketball, Mini volleyball, Mini handball and cooperative games. Students are introduced to modern trends in Physical Education teaching. Concepts of Brain Gym, thematic and integration concepts are also tackled.

In the second part students will go in depth in the organizational, delivery and managerial aspects of a primary school field day. Students are involved in the managing and running of a field day within a chosen primary school. Students work in groups so that skills of management, decision making, improvisation, design, planning, communication and presentation will be assessed during the delivery of the field day within the school.
