mentoringwebThe Mentoring Project runs throughout the whole year. The project targets students coming from St Margaret College who are academically promising and might be in need of support in order to continue with their studies. A group of University students, who act as mentors, meet their mentees on a regular basis. The mentors and mentees participate in a number of educational and social outings.

In 2013 they attended 'LionKink', a show which was organised by the KSU, visited St Edward's College and 'Happy Paws Animal Clinic'. Some of the mentees were also interviewed live on a TV programme, 'Animal Diaries'. The mentees parents were also involved in the project. The College Principal, Ms McNamara , organised monthly meetings with the mentees' parents so that they could discuss issues concerning study and parental skills.

Send us an email if you are interested in participating in this project.
